We spent a week at a beautiful cabin by Brainard this summer with the whole Gerard family. It was in the 90s every single day, so we did lots of swimming, in the lake and the kiddie pool. Don't worry, Mom isn't such a huge stickler that I had to wear a life jacket in the little pool- we were between this and the lake the whole day, so Peter liked keeping his jacket on.
I had so much fun with my cousins. Here I was making Audrey laugh!
I had Mom put me in Ty's play yard to check it out. Turns out it wasn't as much fun as Ty seemed to be having in it.
My pretty cousins Hannah and Emma
Peter brings down the fun stuff for the lake.
Baby Ty is 10 months old now. What a big boy!
We had so much fun swimming. With my life jacket on, I swam all by myself without any help from Mom. Peter was really good too at swimming, but I was faster!
All of us enjoying ice cream cones!
Taking a leisurely boat ride around the lake. Luckily we got the boat working, and didn't have to use the paddles to bring us back to shore like we had to the previous day, do to engine problems.
We went to Paul Bunyan Land and got to see the giant blue ox and Paul Bunyan. There were so many rides to go on- we had so much fun!
Of course I had to check out this little combine. They had a bunch of old tractors to look at too.
We met a little kitty on our tour of the old village there. He was very cute a soft!
The frog hopper was probably the best ride, in Peter's eyes. Mine might have been the tilt-o-whirl that I went on with Mom. But I only went on that once because Mom couldn't handle going on it again. She is getting old- she can only handle her favorite ride one time, and that was it. We did have a ton of fun spinning super fast!
